Sure, why not? I am by no means saying that Paris Hilton is a role model — but my job isn’t to critique her, it’s to critique the art. The artist claims that his objective is to teach teens about the dangers of drunk driving. Given Hilton’s DUI, I think it’s fair game to use her to show that even celebrities who seemingly have it all can get arrested. However, I was rather disturbed to find an artwork so sexually explicit aimed at teenagers, given that the supposed point of the piece was drunk driving not promiscuity. I think it capitalizes on shock value, and that it won’t have any influence over whether kids drink before prom or not — particularly since the exhibit is here in New York City, where most adults don’t even drive.

i agree, what does Hilton’s sexuality have to do with her DUI charge….perhaps the artist’s exposure? which is more revealing, the art or the artist’s intentions?
