If you're ever out on the West Coast, please check us out: www.myspace.com/thevancouverstoryslam There are also Ongoing Story Slams in Edmonton, Canada and Philadelphia, Oklahoma City and now I hear there is one started in Washington and one in Los Angeles. I wonder if there is anyone else interested in instigating an event in your locale to make a presence for your writers' group or improv' theatre company or a poetry slam offshoot for those poets who focus on narrative. It becomes a wonderful social circle as well. And all the Story Slams in all these places would love it if there were just a few more -- enough to make a circuit of sorts for any team of Story-Slammers to visit.
